Tags

Label conversations with consistent support topics.

Label conversations

Tags organize support conversations by topic or business context. Open Inbox, select a conversation, and find Tags in the Details panel.

Add a tag

  1. Review the conversation to identify its main topic.
  2. Select Add beside Tags.
  3. Use the available tag control to choose or enter the relevant label.
  4. Confirm the tag appears on the conversation before moving on.

Keep labels useful

Use a small, consistent vocabulary such as Deployment, Data sources, or Billing. Avoid putting customer secrets or full message text in tags. Tags describe context; they do not replace assignee, status, or priority.
